This is not just another design blog with random inspirational posts. The Design Blog cares about young designers from all over the world and this blog is the place where your work can be seen and recognized. Except from the daily/weekly inspiration, every Sunday random person is selected for „Designer of the week“ section, and their work is showcased on The Design Blog Tumblr, Facebook and Twitter. Since this blog is all about great ideas, design and creativity, you’re invited to be a part of it, so go ahead, submit your work, send your ideas, questions and anything else that you think it would be important for the blog!

Who runs this and why?
Name is Ena Bacanovic, but Ruby for everyone.
20 years old, from Vinkovci/Croatia but now living in Zagreb/Croatia due to Information design college. First touch with graphic design was back in the days of Elementary school - in art class, and since then, design is something that I do almost every day. I love making simple and clean stuff that have complicated stories behind, with a dose of humor in it when it’s possible.
For me, design is a way of thinking and elaborating ideas that mostly come up to me in the middle of the night, and with enough coffee, they become “something”. When I’m not on the computer working on a new projects or sleeping, I play drums in a female band Punchke.
When I first started the blog it was all about having inspiration at one place that I could easily access anytime, but it became so much more than that. As a young designer I know how hard can be to get people to see your work and even to work with you, so that’s why with this blog I’m trying to make all of that a little bit easier, for clients and designers.
